IBPS has been appointed to recruit Engineers in Mumbai Mahanagarpalika. And a proposal has been sent to the Konkan Divisional Commissioner for approval for the point list of reserved posts, the Engineer Association informed that such information was given by the Municipal Commissioner. The commissioner also explained that the promotion process for the post of junior engineer and second engineer for the employees who have obtained engineering degree and graduation in municipal service will start soon. Brihanmumbai Municipal Engineers Union followed up for that. Additional General Secretary Sanjay Jadhav said that the promotion of the post of Chief Engineer, Deputy Commissioner, Engineering will be beneficial. 1. अभियंत्यांची भरती करण्यासाठी आयबीपीएस या संस्थेची नेमणूक करण्यात आली असून राखीव पदांच्या बिंदू नामावलीसाठी कोकण विभागिक आयुक्तांकडे प्रस्ताव मंजूरीसाठी पाठविण्यात आला आहे, अशी माहिती पालिका आयुक्तांनी दिल्याची माहिती इंजिनिअर असोशिएशने दिली.
2. पालिकेच्या सेवेत अभियंता पदवी आणि पदवीका प्राप्त केलेल्या कर्मचार्यांसाठी कनिष्ठ अभियंता आणि दुय्यम अभियंता या पदासाठी पदोन्नतीची प्रक्रिया लवकरच सुरू होईल असेही आयुक्तांनी स्पष्ट केले.
3. त्यासाठी बृहन्मुंबई म्युनिसिपल इंजिनिअर्स युनियनने पाठपुरावा केला होता. प्रमुख अभियंता, उपायुक्त, अभियांत्रिकी या पदाच्या पदोन्नतीसाठी लाभ मिळेल, असे अतिरिक्त सरचिटणीस संजय जाधव यांनी यांनी सांगितले.

मुंबई महापालिकेमध्ये विविध पदे रिक्त

 मुंबई महापालिकेमध्ये तब्बल 38 हजार 128 पदे रिक्त आहेत. सर्वाधिक पदे ही क आणि ड वर्गाची आहे. सरळ सेवा व पदोन्नती अंतर्गत एक लाख दहा हजार 509 मंजूर पदे आहेत. यातील सर्वाधिक रिक्त पदे क आणि ड वर्गाची असून त्यांची संख्या 33 हजार 43 इतकी आहे. मुंबई महापालिकेत एवढ्या मोठ्या प्रमाणात रिक्त पदे असताना प्रशासन माञ याकडे कायम दुर्लक्ष करत असल्याचे समोर येत आहे.

सरळसेवा मध्ये तांत्रिक आणि अतांत्रिक, वर्ग क, ड, संवर्गातील पदे रिक्त आहेत..सरळ सेवा भरतीचा ज्या वेळी महापालिका निर्णय घेईल, त्यावेळी रिक्त पदे भरण्यात येतील असेही महापालिकेकडून स्पष्ट करण्यात आले. दरम्यान वेटिंग लिस्टवर असलेली पदे लवकरात लवकर भरण्यासाठी प्रशासनाकडून प्रयत्न सुरू असल्याचे समजते.
