CRPF Tribal Recruitment for 400 Posts Details are given here. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has selected a new batch of 400 tribal youth from interior areas of Naxal. Bijapur, Dantewada and Sukma districts of Chhattisgarh under a special recruitment drive were run. They will be recruited as constables in the force. The ‘Bastaria Battalion’, named after the then undivided Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, will comprise mainly tribal youth. केंद्रीय राखीव पोलीस दला (CRPF) ने एका विशेष भरती मोहिमेअंतर्गत छत्तीसगडमधील नक्षलग्रस्त बिजापूर, दंतेवाडा आणि सुकमा जिल्ह्यांतील अंतर्गत भागातील 400 आदिवासी तरुणांची नवीन तुकडी निवडली आहे. त्यांना दलात हवालदार म्हणून भरती करण्यात येणार आहे. छत्तीसगढच्या तत्कालीन अविभाजित बस्तर जिल्ह्याच्या नावावर असलेल्या ‘बस्तरिया बटालियन’चा मुख्यतः आदिवासी तरुण भाग असतील.

महिलांसाठी वजन आणि उंची श्रेणीमध्ये शिथिलता

• गृह मंत्रालयाच्या एका अधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले की, निवडलेल्या सर्व 400 आदिवासी तरुणांची नियुक्ती पत्रे जारी करण्यात आली आहेत.
• केंद्राने 2016 मध्ये ‘बस्तरिया बटालियन’ स्थापन करण्याची घोषणा केली होती. या अंतर्गत, बस्तर प्रदेशातून मोठ्या प्रमाणात नोकर भरती केली जाते. विशेष म्हणजे, त्यांना छत्तीसगडमध्ये माओवादीविरोधी कारवाया करण्याचे काम सोपवले जाते.
• अन्य एका अधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले की, सरकारने आदिवासी पुरुष आणि महिलांच्या भरतीसाठी वजन आणि उंचीच्या श्रेणीत शिथिलता आणली आहे.
  सुरक्षा दलांना फायदा व्हावा हा यामागचा हेतू आहे
• अशा परिस्थितीत नक्षलवाद्यांविरुद्धच्या लढाईत सुरक्षा दलांना अधिक फायदा मिळावा, हा या बटालियनच्या स्थापनेमागचा उद्देश आहे.
• तरुणांना स्थानिक भाषेच्या ज्ञानासोबत स्थानिक भाषेची माहिती असणे आवश्यक आहे, ज्यामुळे त्यांना माओवाद्याबद्दल सहज माहिती मिळू शकेल.
• यामुळे स्थानिक लोकसंख्येला एक सकारात्मक संदेश जाईल, कारण CRPF च्या माध्यमातून मोठ्या संख्येने स्थानिक आदिवासी तरुण मुख्य प्रवाहाशी जोडले जात आहेत.

केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पोलिस दलांमध्ये मनुष्यबळाची मोठी चणचण असल्याचे केंद्रानेच संसदेमध्ये दिलेल्या माहितीवरून स्पष्ट झाले आहे. ‘सीआरपीएफ’ आणि ‘बीएसएफ’मध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणावर जागा रिक्त आहेत. केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पोलिस दले आणि आसाम रायफलमधील रिक्त जागा (१ जाने. २०२३ पर्यंत) ८३ हजार १२७ एवढ्या असून एकूण क्षमता ही १० लाख १५ हजार २३७ एवढी असल्याचे केंद्रीय गृहराज्यमंत्री नित्यानंद राय यांनी लोकसभेत लेखी उत्तरात सांगितले. जुलै २०२२ आणि जानेवारी २०२३ मध्ये ३२ हजार १८१ जणांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली असून अतिरिक्त ६४ हजार ४४४ रिक्त जागांची अधिसूचना काढण्यात आली आहे. ही भरतीची प्रक्रिया २०२३ पर्यंत पूर्ण करण्याचा विचार आहे. रिक्त जागांमुळे आहे त्या कर्मचाऱ्यांना अधिक काम करावे लागत असल्याचा निष्कर्ष काढणे चुकीचे असल्याचे राय यांनी सांगितले.
