District Hospital Satara Bharti 2022: Although the Koregaon Rural Hospital in Satara district has been converted into a sub-district hospital, almost half of the sanctioned 49 medical officer and other staff posts in the hospital i.e. 23 posts are vacant.

जून २०२१ मध्ये येथील ग्रामीण रुग्णालयाचे रूपांतर उपजिल्हा रुग्णालयात झाले असले तरी, रुग्णालयातील मंजूर ४९ वैद्यकीय अधिकारी व अन्य कर्मचारी पदांपैकी जवळपास निम्मी म्हणजे २३ पदे रिक्त आहेत. त्यामुळे उपजिल्हा रुग्णालयच ‘सलाईनवर’ असल्याची स्थिती आहे. उपलब्ध वैद्यकीय अधिकारी, कर्मचाऱ्यांना दैनंदिन रुग्णसेवा देताना तारेवरची कसरत करावी लागत आहे. त्यामुळे उपजिल्हा रुग्णालय झाले असले तरी, त्या अनुषंगाने काहीअंशी आवश्यक सोयी-सुविधा उपलब्ध झालेल्या नसल्यामुळे रुग्णांसह वैद्यकीय अधिकारी, कर्मचाऱ्यांना अनेक समस्यांना तोंड द्यावे लागत आहे.

दररोज सुमारे १०० वर ओपीडी असलेले येथील ग्रामीण रुग्णालय हे गोरगरीब, सर्वसामान्य तसेच मध्यमवर्गीय नागरिकांना मोफत आरोग्य सोयी-सुविधांसाठी मैलाचा दगड ठरले होते. चांगली ओपीडी, नागरिकांची गरज व मागणी लक्षात घेऊन शासनाने या ग्रामीण रुग्णालयाचे जून २०२१ मध्ये उपजिल्हा रुग्णालयात रूपांतर केले. त्यामुळे अत्याधुनिक आरोग्य सोयी-सुविधा वाढल्याने नागरिकांत समाधान होते. परंतु, नागरिकांचे हे समाधान फार काळ टिकले नाही. उपजिल्हा रुग्णालय होऊन जवळपास दीड वर्ष होत आले तरी, रुग्णालयामधील मंजूर ४९ वैद्यकीय अधिकारी आणि इतर कर्मचारी पदांपैकी निम्मी पदे अद्याप रिक्त आहेत.

त्यामुळे दैनंदिन बाह्य व अंतररुग्णांवर उपचार करताना उपलब्ध वैद्यकीय अधिकारी, इतर कर्मचाऱ्यांना तारेवरची कसरत करावी लागते. त्यामुळे रुग्णांना उपचार मिळण्यात अनेक अडचणी येत आहेत. ग्रामीण रुग्णालयाचे उपजिल्हा रुग्णालयात रूपांतर झाल्यानंतर मूळच्या रुग्णालयाला लागून सुसज्ज आरसीसी इमारत उभारली आहे. त्यात वैद्यकीय सेवा-सुविधांसाठी आवश्यक बऱ्याच कक्षरचना केल्या आहेत. त्यांचा कोविड-१९ काळात चांगला उपयोग झाला. रुग्णांना उपचार करणेही सोयीचे झाले.

• वैद्यकीय अधिकारी (शस्त्रक्रिया) गट ‘अ’
• वैद्यकीय अधीक्षक गट ‘अ’
• वैद्यकीय अधिकारी (स्त्रीरोग व प्रसूतीशास्त्र) गट ‘अ’ (संबंधित वैद्यकीय अधिकारी २४ नोव्हेंबर २०२१ पासून विनापरवाना गैरहजर)
• वैद्यकीय अधिकारी गट ‘अ’ (नियुक्त वैद्यकीय अधिकारी प्रतिनियुक्तीने सातारा सर्वसाधारण रुग्णालयात कार्यरत)
• दंतचिकित्सक अधिकारी व दंत्तसहायक
• स्टाफनर्स (अधीपरिचारिका) एक नियमित व पाच कंत्राटी
• औषधनिर्माते ही दोन कंत्राटी पदे
• कक्षसेवक नियमित चार व एक कंत्राटी
• शस्त्रक्रियाग्रह परिचर, बाह्यरुग्ण सेवक व व्रनोपचारक कंत्राटी प्रत्येकी एक पद
• एक नियमित वरिष्ठ लिपिकपद

वैद्यकीय अधिकारी व इतर कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या रिक्त पदांमुळे रुग्णसेवा करताना उपलब्ध वैद्यकीय अधिकारी, कर्मचाऱ्यांची तारेवरची कसरतही होत आहे. ही पदे भरण्याबाबत वरिष्ठ कार्यालयाकडे नियमितपणे कळवतो. रिक्त पदे भरल्यानंतर रुग्णसेवा अधिकाधिक सुकर होऊ शकेल. रुग्णालय इमारतीमधील अपूर्ण सुविधाही लवकरात लवकर मिळणे रुग्ण व वैद्यकीय अधिकाऱ्यांसाठी आवश्यक आहे.
