Up to 500,000 candidates have applied for the Teacher Eligibility Examination conducted by the State Examination Council. The last date for submission of application form is 28th November 2019. Every day, at least 5,000 candidates are filling the application form. There is no exemption in examination fee for SEBAC and EWS category. It is mandatory to pass the TET exam in order to get teachers’ jobs in schools. The examination will be conducted at two levels

The registration process for the exam for 2020 has just been started. Of them, For TET Paper 1 35,300 has been registered and TET Paper 2 is 24.400, and total of TET Paper 1 and TET Paper 1 is more than 1,00,500.

A total of 44,000 candidates have filed online applications for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by Pune Maharashtra State Examination Council in eight days. Every day, at least 5,000 candidates are filling the application form. There is no exemption in examination fee for SEBAC and EWS category. It is mandatory to pass the TET exam in order to get teachers’ jobs in schools.
The exam is conducted once a year with the permission of the government. After 15 July 2018, there was no test. The exam will be held on 29th January 2020. The facility has been made available to apply online for this exam from 8th November 2019. Candidates have been given deadline to file application by 28th November 2019. Online admit cards can be print from 4th January 2020.

The examination will be conducted at two levels, from 1st to 5th, and from 6th to 8th. General, other Backward Classes, Special Backward Classes, Wanderers and Tribes candidates will have to pay Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 800 for both papers. The candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, MPs are required to pay Rs. 250 for one paper and Rs. 400 for both papers. In the matter of eligibility points, action will be taken according to the order of the Government, Superintendent of Maharashtra State Examination Council Shashikant Chimne has informed and also the instructions have been posted on the website.
