Policy Commission published notice to make change in the age limit for Civil services. For applicants from general category applying for civil services examination will have the age limit of 27 year. This age limit is deducted from 30 years, as it was previous age limit for the open category applicants applying for civil services examinations. This important change may applicable from 2022 – 23 year as decided by the commission.
UPSC New Age Limit for Civil Services
Commission released “Strategy for New India 75” on Wednesday. In this the notification regarding the change in the age limit for civil services is mention. Also the notification for integrated civil services examination is also request. For civil services examination maximum age limit is decreased from 30 years to 27 years. This important change in the age limit may process from 2022-23 step by step as said in the notice.
For recruitment in civil services more than 60 independent civil services examination may get conduct. Those applicants may get add to Central Talent Pool. From that as per the applicants quality will get shortlists for next process.
