शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालयाच्या विविध प्रलंबित प्रश्नांविषयी जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयात बैठक झाली. या बैठकीत मनुष्यबळ भरणे, चिंचोली येथील प्रकल्पासाठी रस्ता तयार करणे, रुग्णालयीन परिसरातील अतिक्रमण हलविणे आदी विषयांवर चर्चा झाली. शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालय, जळगांव येथील शुश्रूषा संवर्गातील रिक्त पदे भरेपर्यन्त अतिरिक्त मनुष्यबळ पुरवणेबाबत चर्चा झाली. परिचारिकांची ३९६ पदे रिक्त आहे. तरी सार्वजनिक आरोग्य सेवा यांच्या अधिनस्त कार्यरत असलेल्या एकुण ७२ नर्सिंग संवर्गातील कर्मचा-यांच्या बदल्या करण्यात येऊ नये, जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयाकडून तात्पुरत्या स्वरुपात रुग्णसेवा सुरळीतपणे चालू ठेवण्यासाठी कंत्राटी पध्दतीने एकुण ५० पदे भरण्याची कार्यवाही करावी, अशी विनंती करण्यात आली.
