पणजी गृह रक्षक दल आणि नागरी संरक्षण संघटनामध्ये १४३ गृह रक्षक स्वयंसेवकांची प्रारंभी फक्त तीन वर्ष कालावधीसाठी उमेदवारांकडून अर्ज मागितले आहे. त्यांना प्रती दीन ८७८ रुपये मानधन देण्यात येणार आहे. २ एप्रिल पर्यंत इच्छूकांनी अर्ज करावे. वय वर्ष २० ते ५० वयाेगटातील उमेदवार अर्ज करु शकतात.
उमेदवारांची किमान शैक्षणिक पात्रता इयत्ता ८ वी उत्तीर्ण असणे गरचे आहे. तसेच किमान उंची पुरुष ५. ५ आणि महिला ४ .११ शारीरिक क्षमता चाचणी पुरुष उमेदवारांसाठी १ कि. मी. धावणे ५ मिनिटे ३० सेकंदांत पूर्ण करणे आवश्याक आहे तर महिला उमेदवारांसाठी ८०० मीटर धावणे ५ मिनिटे ३० सेकंदांत पूर्ण करणे आवश्यक आहे.
उमेदवारी अर्ज आल्तिनो येथील गृह रक्षक दल आणि नागरी संरक्षण संघटना, गोवा राखीव पोलीस कॅम्पच्या कार्यालयात उपलब्ध आहेत. हे अर्ज कार्यालयीन दिवशी सकाळी १० ते दु. १ वा. आणि २ ते ५.३० या वेळेत प्रती अर्ज रू. २० या दराने उपलब्ध आहेत. पूर्ण भरलेले अर्ज गृह रक्षक दल आणि नागरी संरक्षण संघटना गोवा राखीव पोलीस कॅम्पच्या कार्यालयात २ एप्रिल किंवा त्याआधी सादर करावेत. त्यानंतर मिळालेले अर्ज नाकारण्यात येतील.

वाळपई, राज्यातील लोकांना शांती, सेवा, न्याय मिळायला हवा. लोकसेवा हीच खरी सेवा असावी. त्याकरिता कोणत्याही आव्हानांना तोंड देण्याची क्षमता पोलिसांच्या अंगी असावी. आज पोलिस दलात ४७३ उमेदवार भरती झाले. यात दहावीपासून उच्चशिक्षितांचा समावेश आहे. म्हणूनच या तुकडीतील पोस्ट ग्रॅज्युएट, पदवीधारक, मॅकेनिकल इंजिनियर यांना भविष्यात बढतीची संधी मिळेल, असे प्रतिपादन मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. प्रमोद सावंत यांनी केले.
- ४९ व्या तुकडीतील पोलिस कॉन्स्टेबल पदावरील उमेदवारांच्या दीक्षांत सोहळ्यात ते बोलत होते. वाळपई पोलिस प्रशिक्षण केंद्र मैदानावर रविवारी सकाळी आयोजित दीक्षांत सोहळ्याला पोलिस महासंचालक जसपाल सिंग, प्रशिक्षण केंद्राच्या प्राचार्य तथा एस.पी. सुचिता देसाई, आयजीपी ओमवीर सिंग बिश्‍नोई, उपप्राचार्य तथा डीवायएसपी नोलास्को रापोस आदी उपस्थित होते.

It is said that the new constables will be appointed on a two-year probation period followed by an induction training of at least two weeks apart from the basic training course. This appointment is temporary. Goa Police Recruitment 2022 : गोवा पोलीस भरती प्रक्रिया 8 दिवसात सुरु करणार असल्याची घोषणा मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. प्रमोद सावंत यांनी केली आहे. गोवा पोलीस महासंचालक आणि वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांसोबत आढावा बैठक घेतल्यानंतर मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी माध्यमांशी संवाद साधला. यावेळी आधी विधानसभा आणि त्यानंतर पंचायत निवडणुकीच्या आचारसंहितेमुळे प्रक्रिया रखडल्याचं स्पष्टीकरण मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंतांनी दिलं.

- दरम्यान हैदराबाद पोलिसांकडून गोवा पोलिसांवर विनाकारण आरोप होत असल्याचा दावाही मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी केला आहे. पोलीस महासंचालक जसपाल सिंग यांनी केलेल्या मेलला अजूनही उत्तर न दिल्याचं स्पष्टीकरण मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी दिलं आहे.
- गोव्यात अपघाती मृत्यूंचं प्रमाण हे फार मोठं आहे. याला वाहतुकीचे नियम न पाळणं हेच महत्त्वाचं कारण आहेत. ड्रंक अँड ड्राईव्ह आणि वाहतुकीचे नियम न पाळल्यामुळेच अपघात होऊन त्यात अनेकांना आपला जीव गमावावा लागल्याचं मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी सांगितलं.

या चालु महिन्यात दोन पोलिस अधीक्षक (SP) निवृत्त होत असल्याने, गोव्यात जवळपास 70% SP पदे रिक्त होणार आहेत. पोलीस उपअधीक्षकांना (DySP) एसपी पदांवर बढती देण्यासाठी पात्रता सेवेत शिथिलता देण्याचा प्रस्ताव गोवा पोलिसांनी राज्याकडे पाठवला आहे. गृह विभागाने या प्रस्तावाला मान्यता दिली असून, मंजुरीसाठी फाईल मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत (CM Pramod Sawant) यांच्याकडे पाठवण्यात आली आहे.
एका वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले की, मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी फाइल मंजूर केल्यानंतर ती अंतिम मंजुरीसाठी गोवा लोकसेवा आयोगाकडे पाठवली जाईल. सध्या, गोवा पोलिसांकडे 13 मंजूर एसपी पदे आहेत, त्यापैकी सात रिक्त आहेत, या महिन्याच्या अखेरीस रिक्त होणार्‍या दोन व्यतिरिक्त. शेखर प्रभुदेसाई, सॅमी टावरेस, विश्राम बोरकर आणि बॉसुएट सिल्वा हे फक्त चार एसपी सेवेत असतील. बोरकर सध्या राजभवनात तैनात आहेत. एका वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले की, डीएसपींना पदोन्नती देण्यासाठी काहींना दोन वर्षांची सूट द्यावी लागेल, तर काहींना दीड वर्षांची सूट द्यावी लागेल. ते म्हणाले की गोवा पोलिसांमध्ये (Goa Police) भारतीय राखीव बटालियन (IRBn) चे विलीनीकरण राज्य सरकारने मंजूर केल्यानंतर गोवा पोलिसांसाठी नऊ नवीन एसपी रिक्त जागा निर्माण केल्या जातील.
बढती मिळवण्यासाठी, DYSP म्हणून सहा वर्षांची नियमित सेवा पूर्ण करावी लागते, जोपर्यंत सरकार आयोगाशी सल्लामसलत करून ही अट शिथिल करत नाही. सध्या 14 डीएसपींनी 4.5 वर्षे पूर्ण केली आहेत. गेल्या वर्षी, GPSC ने DYSP ते SP कडे पदोन्नतीसाठी काही आवश्यकतांमध्ये सूट मिळावी यासाठी राज्य सरकारचा प्रस्ताव नाकारला. राज्य सरकारने विभागीय परीक्षा, अभ्यासक्रमाची तयारी आणि पदोन्नतीसाठी आवश्यक असलेल्या वर्षांच्या सेवेतून सूट मागितली होती. एसपींची विविध पदे रिक्त असल्याने पोलिसांनी सूट मागितली होती. या टंचाईमुळे विभागाच्या एकूण कामकाजावर परिणाम होत असल्याचे सरकारने म्हटले होते.
