Latest updates regarding the Prison Department Bharti in Maharashtra. There are nearly 2,000 vacancies in the prison department in the state. Amitabh Gupta, Additional Director General of Prisons in the state informed that these 2,000 vacant posts will be filled soon as this is putting a strain on the available employees. At present, there are around five thousand employees working in the state prison department. However, two thousand posts were vacant. Gupta said that two thousand posts will be recruited soon to fill these vacancies. The number of prison staff and health workers has been kept higher in the new recruitment process. राज्य कारागृहात विभागात होणार मेगा भरती; तब्बल २ हजार पदे भरणार

राज्यात कारागृह विभागात तब्बल दोन हजार पदे रिक्त आहेत. यामुळे उपलब्ध असलेल्या कर्मचाऱ्यांवर कामाचा ताण पडत असल्याने लवकरच रिक्त असलेली ही २ हजार पदे भरली जाणार असल्याची माहिती राज्यातील कारागृहांचे अपर पोलीस महासंचालक अमिताभ गुप्ता यांनी दिली. सध्या राज्य कारगृह विभागात तब्बल पाच हजार कर्मचारी कार्यरत आहेत. असे असले तरी दोन हजार पदे ही रिक्त होती. ही रिक्त पदे भरण्यासाठी दोन हजार पदांची लवकरच भरती केली जाणार आहे, असे गुप्ता म्हणाले. कारागृह कर्मचारी आणि आरोग्य कर्मचारी यांची संख्या नवीन भरती प्रक्रिया मध्ये अधिक ठेवण्यात आली आहे.

1. गुप्ता म्हणाले,पालघर आणि अहमदनगर येथे नवीन कारागृह बनविण्यात येणार आहे. तसेच आणखी दोन नवीन कारागृह विभाग बनवण्याचा प्रस्ताव सरकारकडे देण्यात आला आहे. उद्योजक सायरस पूनावला यांनी येरवडा आणि कोल्हापूर येथील कारागृहातील दहा हजार कैद्यांना रोज गरम पाणी देण्याचे प्रस्ताव स्वीकारला आहे. राज्यातील कारागृह विभागाकडे १२०० संगणक मागणी आली असून ती लवकर पूर्ण करण्याचा आमचा मानस आहे.
2. राज्यातील १२ कारागृहात ड्रोन सुरक्षा – गुप्ता म्हणाले, राज्यातील १२ कारागृहात ड्रोन लावण्यात येणार असून सुरक्षा मजबूत करण्याचा प्रयत्न करण्यात येणार आहे. त्यादृष्टीने त्याचा वापर करण्याबाबत कर्मचारी यांना प्रशिक्षित करण्यात येत आहे. राज्यातील कारागृहातील आतील परिसर तसेच कारागृह शेती परिसर विस्तीर्ण असून या परिसरातील कायद्यांच्या हालचालींवर निग्रणी ठेवणे व सुरक्षा व्यवस्था अबाधित राखणे यासाठी ड्रोनचा वापर होणार आहे.
3. गेल्या वर्ष भरात विविध आजारांनी १२० कैद्यांचा मृत्यू झाला होता. यावर्षी हे प्रमाण शून्यावर आणण्याचा प्रयत्न केला जाणार आहे. या साठी कैद्यांच्या आरोग्याची काळजी घेतली जाणार आहे. त्यांची आरोग्य तपासणी देखील जाणार असल्याचे गुप्ता म्हणाले.
