According to the petition, the names of the petitioners were included in the merit list of the examination conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission for the posts of Assistant Commissioner and Food Safety Officer in the Food and Drug Administrative Service. However, his name was not in the selection list released after the interview. They scored much lower than expected. The result was declared a year after the exam. The petitioners are of the view that the answer sheets of this examination were not checked properly.

• अन्न व औषधी प्रशासकीय सेवेतील मुख्य परीक्षेच्या उत्तरपत्रिका आठ दिवसांत याचिकाकर्त्यांना उपलब्ध करून देऊ, असे निवेदन महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोगाकडून मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाच्या औरंगाबाद खंडपीठात सादर करण्यात आले. त्यानंतर खंडपीठाचे न्या. एस. जी. मेहरे आणि न्या. संदीपकुमार मोरे यांनी याचिका निकाली काढली.
• एमपीएससी परीक्षेतील उमेदवार दुर्गेश्वरी गायकवाड व इतर २८ उमेदवारांनी अॅड. सिद्धेश्वर ठोंबरे यांच्यामार्फत याचिका दाखल केली होती. याचिकेत म्हटल्यानुसार, महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोगाने अन्न व औषधी प्रशासकीय सेवेतील सहायक आयुक्त आणि अन्न सुरक्षा अधिकारी या पदांसाठी घेतलेल्या परीक्षेच्या गुणवत्ता यादीत याचिकाकर्त्यांची नावे जाहीर झाली होती. मात्र, मुलाखतीनंतर जाहीर झालेल्या निवड यादीत त्यांची नावे नव्हती. त्यांना अपेक्षेपेक्षा खूप कमी गुण मिळाले होते. परीक्षेनंतर एक वर्षाने निकाल घोषित केला होता. या परीक्षेच्या उत्तरपत्रिका योग्य प्रकारे तपासल्या नसल्याची याचिकाकर्त्यांची धारणा आहे.

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administrative Services Main Exam 2023 Interview schedule –  The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has declared the results of the maharashtra food and drug administrative services (main) examination 2023 held on February 10, 2024.
