राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज नागपूर विद्यापीठाच्या पदभरतीसाठी काढलेली जाहिरात बेकायदेशीर असून आता पदभरतीसाठी नव्याने जाहिरात काढावी अशी मागणी सिनेट सदस्य ॲड. मनमोहन वाजपेयी यांनी राज्यपाल रमेश बैस यांना पत्राद्वारे केली आहे. विद्यापीठाच्या जाहिरातीमध्ये विद्यापीठ पदव्युत्तर शिक्षण विभागाकरिता १४ प्राध्यापक , २२ सहयोगी प्राध्यापक, ३५ सहाय्यक प्राध्यापक, डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर विधी महाविद्यालयाकरिता २ साहाय्यक प्राध्यापक, बॅरिस्टर एस. के. वानखेडे शिक्षण महाविद्यालयासाठी ६ सहाय्यक प्राध्यापक आणि एलआयटीयूसाठी ४ प्राध्यापक, ३ सहयोगी प्राध्यापक, ६ सहाय्यक प्राध्यापकांचा समावेश करण्यात आला होता.

• जाहिरातीनंतर लगेच २९ ऑगस्टला राज्य सरकारने एलआयटीला (स्वतंत्र) पूर्ण विद्यापीठाचा दर्जा देणारी अधिसूचना जारी केली. त्यामुळे विद्यापीठाला एकूण मंजूर पदांपैकी एलआयटीयूची पदे काढून नव्याने जाहिरात द्यावी लागणार आहे. त्यामुळे ही जाहिरात बेकायदेशीर ठरत असून त्यासाठी नव्याने प्रक्रिया राबविण्याची मागणी ॲड. मनमोहन वाजपेयी यांनी केली आहे.
• नव्याने रोस्टर – एलआयटीसाठी प्राध्यापकांची एकूण ६२ मंजूर पदे, बायोकेमिस्ट्री विभागासाठी एकूण ९ आणि सूक्ष्म जीवशास्त्र विभागासाठी एकूण ६ पदे मंजूर अशा ७७ प्राध्यापकांच्या पदांचा समावेश करण्यात आला. त्यासाठी एलआयटीयू स्वतंत्र रोस्टर तयार करणार आहे. अशावेळी विद्यापीठाची पदे २५५ ने कमी झाली असून आता २५५ मंजूर पदानुसार रोस्टरही तयार करावे लागणार आहे. कायद्यानुसार एलआयटीची पदे वगळता रिक्त पदे भरण्यासाठी नवीन जाहिरात देणेही बंधनकारक आहे.
  हजारोंचे अर्ज – विद्यापीठाच्या जाहिरातीवरून हजारोंच्या संख्येने उमेदवारांनी अर्ज केले होते. मात्र, ही जाहिरात काढताना, जाणीवपूर्वक त्यामध्ये एलआयटीचा समावेश केला. त्यामुळे आता ही जाहिरात बेकायदेशीर ठरणार असल्याने ती रद्द होण्याची भीती निर्माण झाली आहे. अशावेळी उमेदवारांमध्येही चिंतेचे वातावरण आहे.
