Ulhasnagar Mahanagarpalika Bharti 2024 updates – With 1,305 of the sanctioned 3,256 posts in Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation lying vacant, there is a fear that the civic administration could fall into the hands of contractual workers. More than 23 out of 36 Class-I posts, 13 out of 21 Class-II posts and more than 460 out of 735 Class-C posts are vacant. Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation has sanctioned 3,256 posts, of which more than 1,305 posts are vacant. With a large number of employees retiring this year, there is also a possibility that the civic administration will fall into the hands of contract workers in the future.

The percentage of vacancies increased to more than 40 as the civic body did not have direct service recruitment for years. Last month, the state government approved filling up of 158 posts of engineers and fire brigade guards. Deputy Commissioner Ashok Naikwade said the recruitment process for the post has started. उल्हासनगर महापालिकेतील मंजूर ३२५६ पैकी १३०५ पदे रिक्त असल्याने, महापालिका कारभार कंत्राटी कामगारांच्या हाती जाण्याची भीती व्यक्त होत आहे. वर्ग-१ च्या ३६ पैकी २३, वर्ग-२ च्या २१ पैकी १३ तर वर्ग-क च्या ७३५ पैकी ४६० पेक्षा जास्त पदे रिक्त आहेत. उल्हासनगर महापालिकेत एकून ३२५६ पदे मंजूर असून त्यापैकी १३०५ पेक्षा जास्त पदे रिक्त आहेत. तर यावर्षी सेवानिवृत्त होणाऱ्या कर्मचाऱ्यांची संख्या मोठी असल्याने, भविष्यात महापालिका कारभार कंत्राटी कामगारांच्या हाती जाण्याची शक्यताही व्यक्त होत आहे. महापालिकेत सरळसेवा भरती वर्षानुवर्षे न झाल्याने, रिक्त पदाची टक्केवारी ४० पेक्षा जास्त झाली. गेल्या महिन्यात अभियंता, अग्निशमन दल सुरक्षारक्षक आदी १५८ पदे भरण्यासाठी राज्य शासनाने मंजुरी दिली. त्या पदासाठी भरती प्रक्रिया सुरू झाल्याची माहिती मुख्यालय उपायुक्त अशोक नाईकवाडे यांनी दिली. तर महापालिका कारभार चालविण्यासाठी नाईलाजास्तव सेवानिवृत्त अधिकारी, कंत्राटी कामगारांची भरती खाजगी ठेकेदारा मार्फत सुरू आहे. कर्मचारी कमी असल्याने, महापालिका प्रभाग समिती क्रं-३ मधील अंतर्गत साफसफाईचे खाजगीकरण करून वर्षाला १२ कोटी रुपये खर्च केले जात आहे.

1. महापालिकेतील वर्ग-१ च्या ३६ पैकी २३ तर वर्ग-२ च्या २१ पैकी १३ पदे रिक्त असल्याने, एका अधिकाऱ्याकडे अनेक पदाचा पदभार देण्यात आला आहे. एकाच अधिकाऱ्याकडे एका पेक्षा जास्त पदाचा पदभार दिला असल्याने, ते त्या विभागाला न्याय देऊ शकतात का? असा आरोपही होत आहे. महापालिका कामगार संघटनेने कर्मचारी भरतीचा तगादा आयुक्ताकडे लावला आहे. मात्र भरती प्रक्रियेला शासनाची मंजुरी मिळत नसल्याने, ४० टक्के पेक्षा जास्त पदे रिक्त असल्याची माहिती सहायक आयुक्त मनीष हिवरे यांनी दिली. वर्ग-क व वर्ग-ड ची प्रत्येकी ५०० पेक्षा जास्त पदे रिक्त असून शासनाने रिक्त पदासाठी सरळसेवा भरतीला मान्यता देण्याची मागणी विविध नेत्यांकडून होत आहे.
2. महापालिकेचा कारभार कंत्राटी कामगारांकडे? –  महापालिकेत रिक्त पदाची टक्केवारी ४० टक्के पेक्षा जास्त असून चालू वर्षात सेवानिवृत्त होणाऱ्या कर्मचारीची संख्याही मोठी आहे. त्यामुळे महापालिका कारभार कंत्राटी कामगारांच्या हाती जाते की काय? असा प्रश्नही निर्माण झाला.
3. शासनाकडे अधिकाऱ्यांची मागणी – महापालिका आयुक्त अजीज शेख यांनी शासनाकडे प्रतिनियुक्तीवरील अधिकाऱ्यांची मागणी केली. मात्र शासनाकडून अध्यापही अधिकारी मिळाले नाही.
