Kanak Resource Recruitment details: A condition of 50 years old has been imposed by the municipality on the new garbage disposal companies. As a result of this condition, about 200 contract employees working for Kanak Resources have been working at home for 10 to 11 years. Controversy has spread among the contract workers. Only the families of these employees have come out in the open because of contract changes.
It was decided to change the contract of the garbage company in the Municipal Auditorium. At that time, city officials gave the majority approval. No one was opposed to the cleanliness of the city as a priority. Opposition councilors offered suggestions on some issues. But the new company did not suggest any change in the terms and conditions for the contract workers to be hired.
Enviro Limited and BVG Group are planning to collect waste from the old company. For that, the city’s 10 zones were divided into two groups; New companies will start collecting waste from 16 November 2019. It was inaugurated by Mayor Nanda Zichkar at Bhandewadi on 15th November 2019.

शहरात कचरा संकलन करणाऱ्या दोन कंत्राटदार कंपन्यांचे काम १५ नोव्हेंबरपासून सुरू होणार आहे. त्यापूर्वीच कर्मचारी नियुक्तीवरून वाद विकोपाला जात आहे. यात नगरसेवकांनीही उडी घेत आयुक्तांना मध्यस्थी करण्याचा आग्रह धरला आहे. ‘कनक’ मध्ये काम करणाऱ्या जुन्या कर्मचाऱ्यांसह इतर व्यवस्थेसाठी लागणारे कर्मचारी शहरातील सुशिक्षित तरुणांना घेत रोजगार द्यावा, अशी विनंती केली आहे. तर, बुधवारी शहरात काही ठिकाणी ‘कनक’च्या जुन्या कर्मचाऱ्यांनी रस्त्यावरच असंतोष व्यक्त केला.
२००८-०९ पासून शहरात कचरा संकलनाचे खासगीकरण झाले. तेव्हापासून कनक रिसोर्स मॅनजमेंट या कंपनीकडे ही जबाबदारी होती. आता दहा वर्षांचे कंत्राट संपुष्टात आल्यानंतर मनपाने काढलेल्या नव्या निविदेत दोन कंपन्यांकडे जबाबदारी सोपविण्यात आली आहे. यात दहा झोनचे दोन भागांत विभाजन करून प्रत्येकी पाच झोनची जबाबदारी या दोन्ही कंपन्यांकडे असेल. लक्ष्मीनगर, धरमपेठ, हनुमाननगर, धंतोली व नेहरूनगर या झोनची जबाबदारी ए. जी. एनव्हानो, तर गांधीबाग, सतरंजीपुरा, लकडगंज, आसीनगर आणि मंगळवारी या पाच झोनची जबाबदारी बीव्हीजी प्रा. लिमिटेड यांच्यावर सोपविण्यात आली आहे. यासाठी या दोन्ही कंपन्यांचे काम युद्धपातळीवर सुरू आहे.

माहितीनुसार, या दोन्ही कंपन्यांकडून कर्मचारी नियुक्तीची प्रक्रिया करण्यात आली असून, वाहनेही घेतली आहेत. त्यामुळे आता कामास सुरुवात करणे तेवढे शिल्लक आहे. यासाठी १५ नोव्हेंबर ही तारीख ठरली असल्याने आता कर्मचारी नियुक्तीचा वाद वाढत आहे. बुधवारला कर्मचाऱ्यांनी वाठोडा आणि जरीपटका भागातील भीम चौक परिसरात कर्मचाऱ्यांनी नाराजी व्यक्त केली. या दोन्ही कंपन्यांना प्रारंभीच आवश्यक त्या सोयी करावयाच्या आहेत. पुढे झोननिहाय डम्पिंग व पुनर्प्रक्रिया युनिटही स्थापन करावयाचे आहे. यासाठी गेल्या अनेक वर्षांपासून कनकमध्ये कार्यरत असलेल्या कर्मचाऱ्यांची सेवा या दोन्ही कंपन्यांना घेणे आवश्यक आहे. त्यासाठी प्रक्रिया सुरू असताना आपल्या अटीनुसार, या दोन्ही कंपन्यांनी भरती प्रक्रिया सुरू केली आहे. या प्रक्रियेत कर्मचाऱ्यांना डावलले जात असल्याचे लक्षात आल्यानंतर नगरसेवकांनी प्रशासनाकडे धाव घेतली आहे. ज्येष्ठ नगरसेविका आभा पांडे यांनी आयुक्त अभिजीत बांगर यांना निवेदन देत जुन्या कर्मचाऱ्यांना नव्या कंपनीने नोकरीत सामावून घ्यावे तसेच जादाचे कर्मचारी लागत असतील तर शहराच्या बाहेरून न बोलविता शहराच्या सुशिक्षित बेरोजगारांना संधी द्यावी, अशी विनंती केली आहे. माजी नगरसेवक बंडू तळवेकर यांनीही काही कर्मचाऱ्यांना सोबत घेत आयुक्तांकडे धाव घेतली. त्यांना कामावर घ्यावे, अन्यथा आंदोलन करण्यात येईल, असा इशारा दिला. त्यामुळे शहरात कचरा संकलन करण्याचे काम सुरू करण्यापूर्वीच दोन्ही कंत्राटदार कंपन्यांना विरोधाला सामोरे जावे लागत आहे.
