Recruitment for the post of District Judge, by Nomination – 2023 – As per directions, it is to inform that the Main Written Examination of the provisionally eligible candidates for the post of District Judge, by nomination (25%), scheduled to be held on 27th April 2024 & 28th April, 2024, has been postponed and re-scheduled on Saturday 4th May, 2024 and Sunday, 5th May, 2024 at Mumbai centre only i.e. at Elphinstone College, 156. Mahatma Gandhi Road, Fort, Mumbai – 400 032. The main written examination shall comprise of two papers based on Civil Law and Criminal Law carrying 100 marks each, having duration of 3 hours each i.e. from 11.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m.

On-line link will be provided shortly to the provisionally eligible candidates through E-mail and SMS to download from website of the High Court, the “Admit Cards” and “Instructions to Candidates” for the main written examination. The downloaded copy of the admit card will be considered valid to appear for the above examination. Please note that admit cards will not be sent by post.

Recruitment for the post of District Judge, by Nomination – 2022 Main Examination Admit Card Available now for candidates. Direct link to download admit card is given here.  The candidates shall bring the admit card for the examination. It may be noted that no candidate who does not possess the admit card would be allowed to appear for the examination. The candidates shall bring with them identification proof e.g. Identity Card issued by the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa or Voters Identity Card issued by Election Commission or alike identification proof issued by Government Authority to prove their identity.

Exam Date : Saturday 16th March 2024 and Sunday 17th March 2024 Time 11.00 am to 2.00 pm.

• The candidates shall be present for examination before 45 minutes of the scheduled time.
• No candidates would be allowed entry in the examination hall after 11.30 a.m.
• The process such as the identification of the candidates as per Admit Card, distribution of answer sheets and filling in the necessary details thereon by the candidates shall be done from 10.45 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
• Time for marking of answers will be 90 minutes only and the examination will start at 11.30 a.m. sharp.
• No candidates would be allowed to leave the examination, on any count, during the duration of examination.
• The candidates shall bring black ink ball pen with them for filling in all details in the answer sheet.
• The candidates shall carefully fill all the particulars in, and sign the attendance sheet.
• The candidates should not mention their names anywhere in the answer sheet.
• Carrying, possessing, using and/or transferring any electronic device such as a Mobile phone, Smart Watch, Digital Watch, Micro Phone, Bluetooth instrument, Camera, Pager, etc. in the examination hall is strictly prohibited

District Judge, by Nomination – 2022 Notice is hereby given that the preliminary written examination for the post of District Judge, by nomination (25%) will be conducted on Sunday, 28th January, 2024 at Mumbai, Nagpur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Centres, simultaneously.
