Banking Working hours Change: New Delhi – Citizens are allotted time to carry out their banking activities in accordance with the scheduled timings of various banks across the country. However, confusion arises as the banks are different at certain working hours. For this, a settlement has been made through the Indian Banks’ Association and banks will continue to operate across the country at the given time. According to the category of bank branches, their operations will be divided into three time periods.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Indian Banks Association. It was proposed that there would be operations in three divisions of the bank. The Bank of Maharashtra is headed by SLBC. Accordingly, the working schedule of the new bank has been announced.
Now, according to the new timetable
- Banks across the country will start operating from 9 am to 3 am, 10 am to 4 pm and 11 am to 5 am.
- As the new schedule will be implemented for various banks in the country from next November, local banks will continue to operate from 9 am to 4 pm.
- Also, citizens can get bank transactions between 9am and 3pm. Banks in the business segment will be operating from 11am to 6am. But the account holders will be able to operate the bank from 11 to 5. In addition, bank branches in other areas will be open from 10 am to 5 pm. So, customers can complete tasks between 10 and 4.
