GMC Nanded Bharti 2023 latest updates – Former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on Monday demanded immediate filling up of vacant posts in government medical colleges and hospitals across Nanded state in the winter session of the state legislature. From Nanded. He referred to the unfortunate incident of 24 patients dying in 24 hours at Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College and Hospital on October 2 and drew the state government’s attention to the chaos in the hospital.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan said a total of 461 posts have been sanctioned in the hospital, out of which 117 posts are vacant. The minister claimed that there was no shortage of medicines in the hospital. However, the relatives of the patients have publicly complained that they have to bring medicines from outside. That day, 70 babies were admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit at a time. Three children were kept in an incubator. There were only three nurses working at the site. Many of the hospital’s nurses were transferred. However, no new appointments were made to their vacant posts.

There are not enough doctors in this hospital. The equipment that performed various medical tests was not functional. There was a foul smell everywhere as there was no regular cleaning in the hospital. In general, the same is the case with all government medical college hospitals and district general hospitals in the state. During the discussion, he demanded that the state government immediately allocate adequate funds.

नांदेड आरोग्य यंत्रणेतील रिक्त पदे तातडीने भरा

• नांदेड राज्यभरातील शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालये व रुग्णालयांतील रिक्त पदे तातडीने भरण्याची मागणी माजी मुख्यमंत्री अशोक चव्हाण यांनी सोमवारी (ता. ११) विधीमंडळाच्या हिवाळी अधिवेशनात केली.
• नागपूरमध्ये हिवाळी अधिवेशन सुरू असून विधानसभेत वैद्यकीय संशोधन विभागाच्या पुरवणी मागण्यांवरील चर्चेदरम्यान चव्हाण यांनी हा विषय मांडला. नांदेड येथील डॉ. शंकरराव चव्हाण शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालयात दोन ऑक्टोबरला २४ तासांत २४ रुग्णांचा मृत्यू होण्याच्या दुर्दैवी घटनेचा संदर्भ त्यांनी दिला आणि या रुग्णालयातील अव्यवस्थेकडे राज्य सरकारचे लक्ष वेधले.
• चव्हाण म्हणाले, या रुग्णालयात एकूण ४६१ पदे मंजूर असून, त्यापैकी ११७ पदे रिक्त आहेत. रुग्णालयात औषधांचा तुटवडा नव्हता, असा मंत्र्यांचा दावा आहे. मात्र, रुणांच्या नातेवाइकांनी बाहेरून औषधे आणावी लागत असल्याची तक्रार जाहीरपणे मांडली आहेत. त्यादिवशी नवजात बालकांच्या अतिदक्षता विभागात एकावेळी ७० बालके दाखल होती. एका इन्क्युबेटरमध्ये तीन-तीन बालके ठेवण्यात आली होती. त्या ठिकाणी केवळ तीन परिचारिका कार्यरत होत्या. या रुग्णालयातील अनेक परिचारिकांची बदली झाली. मात्र, त्यांच्या रिक्त पदांवर नवीन नियुक्त्या करण्यात आल्या नाहीत.
  या रुग्णालयात पुरेसे डॉक्टर नाहीत. विविध वैद्यकीय चाचण्या करणारी उपकरणे कार्यरत नव्हती. रुग्णालयात नियमित स्वच्छता होत नसल्याने सर्वत्र दुर्गंधी होती. सर्वसाधारणपणे राज्यातील सर्वच शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयाच्या रुग्णालयांची व जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालयांची हीच परिस्थिती आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर राज्य सरकारने तातडीने पुरेशा निधीची तरतूद करण्याची मागणी त्यांनी चर्चेदरम्यान मांडली.
• आरोग्य सेवा हा विषय गांभीर्याने व प्राधान्याने हाताळण्याची आवश्यकता आहे. रुग्णसेवेसाठी मोठी गुंतवणूक केली जाते. पदे रिक्त त्याचा योग्य पालकमंत्री येतात आणि कालांतराने सारे शांत होते. हे टाळले उपयोग होणार नाही. घटना घडल्यानंतर मंत्री येतात, पाहिजे व नांदेडसारख्या घटना राज्यात पुन्हा घडणार नाहीत. याची दक्षता घेतली पाहिजे. अशोक चव्हाण, माजी मुख्यमंत्री
