Mumbai University Vacancies 2024- Eligibility Criteria
1.  Professors and Deans of Professors	An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
2. Associate Professors / Deputy Librarians	Agood academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines; A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point- scale, wherever the grading system is followed); A Master‘s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point – scale, wherever grading system is followed;
3. Assistant Professors / Assistant Librarians	A Master‘s degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library.

An online application may be submit on link https://muappointment.mu.ac.in on the University website www.mu.ac.in under “Career” and after submitting an online application take printout of the said form alongwith attested all relevant documents in three sets shall be submitted to the Registrar, University of Mumbai, Room No. 25, Fort, Mumbai–400032 in an envelope super scribed as “Application for the posts of “DEAN (FACULTY OF______________)”, PROFESSORS ___________, ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS __________ / DEPUTY LIBRARIAN _________ & ASSISTANT PROFESSORS ___________ / ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN __________, so as to reach on or before the last date of submission of online application. Applications submitted through online mode and printout copies in three sets alongwith documents will only be considered by the University. Applications in other forms such as Pro-Data, C.V. and any other offline applications will not be considered.
