‘ओपनएआय’च्या ‘चॅटजीपीटी’च्या यशानंतर कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (एआय) अॅप्लिकेशन्समध्ये तज्ज्ञ असलेल्या अभियंत्यांची मागणी जगभरात वाढली आहे. भारतात त्याचा परिणाम दिसू लागला आहे. देशातील एआय अभियंत्यांची ५१ टक्के पदे सध्या रिक्त आहेत. जगभरात एआय अभियंत्यांची जोरदार भरती केली जात आहे. आरोग्य, वित्त आणि मनोरंजन क्षेत्रातील कंपन्या एआय अभियंत्यांची भरती करीत आहेत. या संधीचा फायदा घेऊन एआय अभियंते सातत्याने नोकऱ्या बदलत आहेत. प्रत्येक नव्या नोकरीच्या वेळी त्यांना ३० ते ५० टक्के वेतनवाढ मिळत आहे. अनेक कंपन्या त्यांना दुप्पट वेतनवाढही देत आहेत.

- एआयच्या सुरक्षेवरून सुरु झालेल्या चर्चेच्या अनुषंगाने अमेरिकी राष्ट्राध्यक्ष जो बायडेन यांनी तंत्रज्ञान क्षेत्रातील आघाडीच्या कंपन्यांच्या सीईओंची नुकतीच भेट घेतली.

कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) चॅटबॉट ChatGPT सध्या नोकर्‍या बळकावण्याची भीती असतानाच, भारतात अंदाजे ४५,००० एआय-संबंधित नोकर्‍या रिक्त आहेत, असे टेक स्टाफिंग फर्म टीमलीज डिजिटलच्या अहवालात म्हटलं आहे. एआय सेक्टरमध्ये काम केल्याचा पगार दरवर्षी १० ते १४ लाख रुपयांपासून सुरू होऊ शकतो, तर अधिक अनुभव असलेले उमेदवार त्या पगारात दुप्पट वाढ करतात, असं अहवालात नमूद केलं आहे.

- हेल्थकेअरपासून रिटेल आणि मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंगपर्यंतच्या उद्योगांचा समावेश असलेल्या, या रिक्त पदांमुळे देशातील वाढत्या एआय मार्केटला चालना मिळेल, या मार्केटने गेल्या वर्षी १२.३ अब्ज डॉलर्स कमाई केली आणि २० टक्के चक्रवाढ वार्षिक वाढ दराने (CAGR) वाढ अपेक्षित आहे.

- एआयच्या भीतीने आणि प्रभावामुळे कंपन्यांनी त्यांच्या कर्मचार्‍यांचे कौशल्य वाढवणे सुरू केले आहे. ‘एआय हे तुलनेने नवीन क्षेत्र आहे आणि कुशल व्यावसायिकांची मागणी झपाट्याने वाढत आहे.
